About the Scottish Chapter

This society chapter looks to represent the design engineers and researchers active in this geographic area, by holding technical and training events for its members, and helping to develop an positively active design community in the area. Commonly a number of technical events are organised per year, these are 1hr - 1hr30 technical presentations and workshops form industry leaders. These technical experts are invited by the chapter to present to its members.

The chapter is supported by IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS), with the aim to aid personal development of designers and engineers in the local area as well as helping engineers build cross-company connections.

The chapter is actively ran by a volunteer team of technical individuals in the local community. The chapter is always looking for more people to be enveloped.

The chapter is always looking for new people to join the committee, get involved and help with organising the events. If you think this might be something you would be interested in, please contact the chapter secretary. Join the mailing list, using the box in the bottom of the page, to be informed of up coming events.

You don't need to be a member of IEEE or SSCS to attend the events, they are open to all interested parties in the local community. Become a point of contact in your company or university, were the committee can contact you to forward information on to your colleagues.
